Accessibility Statement

1. Our Commitment

Albania For Business Sh.p.k. (“the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to making albania-for-business.com (“the Website”) accessible to as many people as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities. Accessibility is part of the same commitment to clear, plain-English communication that guides everything else we do for clients — information about our services should be usable by everyone who needs it, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse the web.

This Accessibility Statement describes the standard we aim to meet, what we have done to achieve it, any known limitations, and how to contact us if you experience a barrier while using the Website.

2. Scope

This Statement applies to content published at albania-for-business.com, including the homepage, service pages, blog and contact form. It does not necessarily extend to third-party websites or tools linked from the Website (for example, an external scheduling tool used to book a consultation), or to documents provided directly to clients as part of an engagement, which are addressed on a case-by-case basis.

3. Conformance Status and Target Standard

We aim for the Website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility, and the benchmark referenced in the EU Web Accessibility Directive (Directive (EU) 2016/2102) and in equivalent Albanian digital-accessibility guidance.

The Website is currently assessed as partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: many core pages meet the relevant success criteria, while some areas identified in Section 5 are still being improved. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard.

4. Accessibility Features of This Website

Where implemented, the Website is designed with the following accessibility features in mind:

  • Semantic HTML headings and landmarks to support navigation with screen readers.
  • Text alternatives (alt text) for meaningful images.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background for standard body text.
  • Resizable text that remains usable when enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or function.
  • Keyboard-operable navigation and forms, including the contact/enquiry form, without requiring a mouse.
  • Clear, consistent navigation and plain-English content, avoiding unnecessary jargon.
  • Visible focus indicators for interactive elements such as links and buttons.

5. Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the Website may not yet be fully accessible. Known limitations may include:

  • Some older blog content or embedded third-party content (e.g. maps or videos) may not fully meet contrast or captioning requirements.
  • Some PDF documents made available for download may not yet be fully tagged for screen-reader use.
  • Some interactive elements added to the site in future updates may not be fully tested with assistive technology immediately upon release.

We are working to address these limitations over time. If you encounter a barrier not listed here, please let us know using the contact details in Section 8 — your feedback helps us prioritize fixes.

6. How We Test This Website

We assess the accessibility of the Website using a combination of the following methods:

  • Automated accessibility scanning tools (for example, axe, WAVE or Lighthouse) run against key pages.
  • Manual review of page structure, headings, color contrast and keyboard navigation.
  • Periodic testing of core user journeys, such as submitting the contact/enquiry form, using keyboard-only navigation.

This Statement was last reviewed based on testing carried out as described above; see the effective date on the cover page.

7. Using This Website With Assistive Technology

The Website is intended to be usable with common assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver), screen magnification software, speech-recognition software, and keyboard-only navigation. If a particular combination of browser and assistive technology causes difficulty, please let us know so we can investigate — see Section 8.

8. Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of albania-for-business.com. If you experience any difficulty accessing content, encounter a barrier, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us:

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within two (2) working days and to respond substantively — including, where practical, providing the requested information in an alternative accessible format — within ten (10) working days.

9. Enforcement Procedure

If you contact us about an accessibility barrier and are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate your concern through our Complaint Handling Policy, available at albania-for-business.com/policies/complaint-handling-policy. Depending on your location and the nature of the concern, you may also be able to raise the matter with the relevant national body responsible for digital accessibility oversight.

10. Preparation and Review of This Statement

This Statement was prepared, and is reviewed, by the Web Team in coordination with the Compliance Officer. It is reviewed at least annually, and additionally whenever the Website undergoes a significant redesign or new functionality is added, to ensure it continues to reflect the actual accessibility status of the site.

11. Contact
